| The Village of Hudson, Illinois, is seeking a full-time employee to assist with the maintenance of the Village. The individual must be a self-starter, well-organized, and able to work independently, be in excellent physical condition, and possess good verbal and written communication skills. Qualified candidates should have experience and/or education related in one of the following areas Water Plant Operations, Street and Maintenance, or Zoning rules and regulations. Certifications are preferred. Job responsibilities will include grounds maintenance, reading of water meters, enforcement of village ordinances, and other duties as assigned. This position has a complete benefit package and compensation will be commensurate with experience. Working hours are 9am-6pm Monday thru Friday. Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, nights, holidays, in cases of emergencies or inclement weather. Applicants are to provide a copy of their job-related licenses with their applications. The successful candidate must pass a physical examination related to essential job functions and have a valid Driver's license.
