Welcome to Hudson, Illinois!

Hudson is a small town in Central Illinois.  We are located in the
northwest corner of McLean County about 10 miles North of
Bloomington-Normal.  We have a population of about 1,800 residents.
Hudson Elementary School is part of McLean County Unit 5 and has
K-5, serving children from Hudson and north Normal.  Students from
Hudson then attend Kingsley Junior High and then on to Normal
Community West High School.

Hudson has become a "bedroom community" for Bloomington-Normal
but has maintained a rural small-town feel.  Most of our residents work
in the "Twin Cities" in Law Enforcement or for State Farm, Country
Insurance, Mitsubishi or one of the many schools in the area.
HUDSON ELEMENTARY PTO
Brick Fundraiser
Join us in becoming a part of School History
With the remodel of the Hudson Elementary School this summer, the Hudson Elementary
PTO will be selling engraved bricks, so you too can become a part of the School’s
History.  The friendship garden will be reinstalled to allow the students and teachers an
eco-friendly place to learn outside of the classroom.  The bricks will provide a pathway in
the garden and possibly in the new playground area.  The money raised will be used to
continue to improve our school.
