Hudson Woman's Club Programs

          PROGRAMS SPONSORED BY HUDSON WOMAN’S CLUB INCLUDE:

Super Seniors - Bingo: This Seniors group meets on the 3rd Monday of the month at Noon at the Town
Hall   for a potluck dinner, entertainment, and Bingo.  This event is held in conjunction with The Village of
Hudson and Hudson Township.  Contact: Mary Beth Tobin

“A Book for Every Baby”: Hudson Woman’s Club, with the help of the Library, is providing one
storybook   for each newborn in Hudson.

Girls Softball Program: (June/July) Girls in 3rd through 12th grades are eligible to participate.  Entry fee   
required.

Red Cross Blood Drive: An annual blood drive at the Town Hall.

Lunch with Santa: Children 4 years - 3rd grade are invited to participate in this event.  The children make
a  craft to take home, listen to a story and visit with Santa Claus.  The Hudson Lions Club provides the lunch.
Registration is required.

Babysitting Clinic: During the clinic the children learn how to change diapers, feed a baby, CPR, First Aid
and Child Growth and Development.  Each person must pass an exam at the end of the class.

PROGRAMS HUDSON WOMAN’S CLUB HELPS SUPPORT INCLUDE:

Love Baskets: (December)  The Love Basket program began in the 1980s to help families in the Hudson
area during the holiday times.  Items are donated by the community and several organizations.  An account
is also established to use during the year in the event a family in our community has a major disaster.

Community Improvement Program: The Club has purchased play equipment for the Town Parks.  
Past projects include the ballpark bleachers, swing sets and paying for the concrete in the pavilion.  By
combining resources the Hudson Woman’s Club and Village of Hudson were able to purchase the modular
in the Front Street Park and the Arc at Waller Park.
